Shielo Shampoo and Conditioner Review

For the last three weeks I have been using Shielo's Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner and I must say I am quite in love*!
Both products are thick, rich and have a delightful but not over-powering scent. I cant exactly decide how to describe the scent, its kinda of floral but not entirely, its slightly fruity but completely... I don't know. It smells like shampoo, but yummy shampoo!

Both the shampoo and conditioner contain many organic and food grade ingredients. The shampoo is sulfate free. My favourite thing is that both products contain silicone, my hair LOVES silicone and I feel that the reason this product works so well for me is because of this ingredient. This product is made and distributed entirely within the USA. While I am not American, this really appeals to me because I support efforts to keep financial transactions within our national boarders. And I know most of my readers are neighbours to the south, so hopefully that tidbit appeals to you as well... :)

Anyway, I was a little surprised by the small size of the product (8oz/237 ml) considering the price. But a little does go a long way, the quality is much higher than I am accustom to. In three weeks I still have a little over half a bottle. The shampoo easily works into a creamy lather and my hair feel so soft and moisturized after rinsing out I feel like I don't even need condition! (for me that is a big deal, I have thirsty hair). After conditioning and towel drying I can easily comb through my hair, tangles are non-existent.

The reason I choose the Hydrate line was because we are coming into the winter season and that means static-y hair! I hate static. These products are doing a fantastic job keeping static at bay.

These products do weigh my hair down a bit. I like that, it keeps the frizz and pouf at bay, also I have naturally heavy hair, so this is pretty typical. But if you have thin, lifeless hair this product may be to heavy for you. Shielo does have a few other lines of shampoo and conditioner that are targeted at different hair needs, so check them out.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone with dry, or easily tangled hair.  Or for those times when your hair just needs a little extra moisture!

I will also add, I received these products really quickly in the mail. These products would make great Christmas presents, and there is still time to order!

Tell me, have you heard of or used any Shielo products? What did/do you think of them? Are you interested in trying any out now?
